Youngest Owner in Pro Sports, Serena Williams’ Daughter Olympia Celebrates $100M Worth Club’s Heartening Valor With a Royal Pose

Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. is only 5 years old, but she already has the world at her feet. In 2020, her parents Alexis Ohanian and Serena Williams announced that they had made her one of the National Women’s Soccer League club Angel City FC’s co-owners. At the time, Olympia wasn’t even 3 years old. This move made her the youngest co-owner in the history of professional sports.

Apart from being co-owners, Ohanian and young Olympia are both avid soccer enthusiasts. Whenever they can, they make it a point to catch their team in action. The father and daughter duo were recently in Los Angeles to watch their team play against Racing Louisville FC. The match was a thriller, and Ohanian and Olympia had a gala time.

Serena Williams’ husband and daughter flaunt their confidence on Instagram

It’s always great for a soccer club when its owners show up to watch it live in action and support it from the stands. Ohanian’s post on Instagram showed him and her daughter posing confidently as they let their support for Angel City FC ring loud and clear. Olympia, despite her young age, looked every bit the co-owner she is. Serena’s supportive husband and daughter were all set for a cracker of a soccer match.

As it turned out, the co-owners were in for a rollercoaster ride as their team struggled against Racing Louisville FC in the first half. It took Louisville only three minutes to register the first goal after Angel City conceded a penalty.

Things went from bad to worse for Angel City after Louisville star Kirsten Davis scored again for Louisville. At the half-time interval, it looked like there was no way back for Olympia and Ohanian’s team.

Angel City substitutes turned the game on its head

Following a disappointing start to the second half, Angel City head coach Freya Coombe made drastic changes. Ali Riley, Alyssa Thompson, and Madison Hammond came on, and it didn’t take long for Angel City’s fortunes to change.

A 68th-minute goal from Katie Johnson allowed the team to return to the game. With only two minutes of the game to go, Savannah McCaskill equalized and pulled off a stunning comeback for Angel City. Ultimately, the two teams settled for a draw. All in all, Olympia and Ohanian would have been pleased to see their team’s indomitable fighting spirit.
