“Don’t know what kind of dad you’re gonna be until the big day comes,” once said Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, as he reminisced memories with his firstborn. But if his Instagram post is to go by, the proud father of two daughters has been a hands-on dad! From making creative pancakes for breakfast to putting his phone down and spending time with Ohanian Jr (Olympia), he has done it all. And on the occasion of ‘Father’s Day‘, the entrepreneur certainly deserves the Dad of the Year award.

Though the 23-time Grand Slam champion did say that there won’t be any Father’s Day celebration. However, the Reddit co-founder made sure to make the day special in his own way. This time it wasn’t pancakes, field day, or a father-daughter date. But what’s more special than spending time with your loved ones in your arms? And that’s how the venture capitalist grabbed the day with his hands full!

In a special Father’s Day post for June 16, while wishing all the papas, Ohanian shared a heartwarming message for his greatest treasures. With his daughter on his lap, he said, “Happy Father’s Day to all my fellow Papas out there.” Morever, he undoubtedly understands the dilemma of being a father to young children. They take on the role of repeatedly reminding their kids about important things, which the latter may not prefer. “We’ll keep trying to tell you kids how much you mean to us, and you’ll be sick of hearing it, and that’ll just encourage us to do it more.” 

Ohanian is the father of two daughters, Olympia and Adira. While Adira has just entered their lives, Olympia is growing like a ‘Pokemon’, according to her papa. And he has frequently leveraged his podcast, ‘Business Dad‘, to share his thoughts about the journey of being a father.

Though Ohanian loves building companies and teams – from Reddit to a venture capital firm, 776 and further encouraging women’s sports as the owner of two teams – he is most proud of the beautiful family he has built with his legendary wife, Serena Williams.

In his recent podcast, he put the joy of being a father to his daughters above everything else. “No matter what career accolades I achieve, fatherhood will be the best thing I ever do,” he said. In his Father’s Day post on X, Ohanian reiterated these feelings with a confession.

Ohanian tweeted, “Building companies is fun but @olympiaohanian@adiraohanianyou two are the greatest things I’ll ever create and I’m so lucky to be your Papa.” Williams despises it when Ohanian puts business and their kids in the same sentence. However, this time the proud mama would certainly let it slide, as the message carries the warmth of Papa as they celebrate Father’s Day.
