‘You Excited to Be a Paleontologist?’ – Serena Williams’ Daughter Olympia Enjoys Her Time With Father Alexis Ohanian

Serena Williams had a special year in 2017. Just ahead of the Australian Open, she discovered that she would soon be giving birth to her first child. Subsequently, she decided to play in the tournament and defeated her elder sister, Venus Williams, to clinch the title Down Under.

Later that year, she tied the knot with Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, in a private ceremony. In the same year, she gave birth to her daughter, Olympia. Olympia is a star like her mother and her adorable moments are often shared on social media by her parents. Recently, Olympia’s father, Alexis Ohanian, shared another such moment involving her.

Serena Williams’ daughter Olympia turns paleontologist

Ohanian took to Instagram to share his wonderful moment with his daughter Olympia. In the stories posted on his official Instagram handle, Olympia can be seen digging to find fossils. Subsequently, he asked his daughter, “You excited to be a paleontologist Olympia?”

Further, as Olympia was busy digging the earth, a rooster passed by, crowing loudly. Alexis laughed and joked, “You got some friends.” As Olympia finished digging, she found a stone. Her father joked it was a dinosaur’s egg.

Serena’s new initiative based on ‘inclusive fashion’

Recently, the former World Number 1 presented her clothing line at the New York Fashion Week in a unique way. During the event, she said, “I love the word inclusive and I wanna kind of stop using the word exclusive when it comes to fashion.”

Further, she added, “…that was something we wanted to work on this collection and show the diversity of women of all colors and all backgrounds and all sizes and just beautiful women, so that was so important to me.”
