Naomi Osaka has long enthralled tennis fans with her game. The Japanese star rose to fame when she defeated Serena Williams in the finals of the 2018 US Open. It was her first Grand Slam title. Subsequently, she has added three more Grand Slam titles to her kitty, thereby taking her tally to four.
The 24-year-old has been dating Cordae, an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. The two have maintained a healthy bond and have kept their personal lives private. The second album by Cordae, ‘From a Bird’s eye View’, was released today via Atlantic Records. Subsequently, Naomi Osaka congratulated her rapper boyfriend.

Naomi Osaka is all praise for Cordae
The Japanese took to Twitter to wish the rapper for his second album. Osaka said, “Getting closer to someone and seeing how much love and dedication they put into their craft is truly inspiring. Cordae you’re a star and a light, quite literally brighten up every room you walk in (or maybe it’s your hair lol). Congratulations on your 2nd album, proud of you.”

Cordae’s second album ‘From a Bird’s Eye View’ features the singer’s ‘Super’ plus Lil Wayne’s collaboration ‘Sinister’. In a press release, Cordae stated that the album was inspired by ‘a life-changing trip to Africa, enduring the loss of a friend gone too soon, and evolving as an artist and a man’.
The 24-year-old rapper burst into the scene when he released remixes of popular songs, such as ‘My Name Is’ by Eminem and ‘Old Ni***s’ which was a response to the song ‘1985’ by J. Cole. The Lost Boy, his first album, was released in 2019. This album was nominated for ‘Best Rap Album’ at the 2019 Grammy Awards.

The Japanese ace at the Australian Open 2022
Naomi Osaka enters the inaugural Grand Slam of the season on the back of a semi-final finish at Melbourne Summer Set 1 tournament. In the tournament starting next week, she is seeded 13th. The 24-year-old faces the challenge of Columbian Camila Osorio in the first round.
