In the Ohanian-Williams household, there are clear demarcations between the area of expertise each member carries. Serena Williams is undoubtedly the GOAT in tennis and Ohanian reigns the tech and entrepreneurial streak. However, when it comes to Olympia, both parents try to expand their realm of expertise. Ohanian gradually became the permanent pancake partner of Olympia. However, recently Williams sidelined Ohanian and took the ladle in her hands.

Embracing his competitive self, the challenge does not intimidate Ohanian as he sends his wife a warning. He is very clearly letting her know who is the master of the pancake tradition.

Alexis Ohanian warns Serena Williams after a pancake threat 

Alexis Ohanian and Olympia have a collective and long history of making pancakes together. Every weekend the father-daughter duo would get together and make Olympia’s favorite Disney characters or anything that she likes on the grill.

Usually, Serena Williams would miss out on these traditions because she would be hitting the court for training. However, now that she has retired, she is taking full advantage of the situation. So much so that she even replaced Ohanian as the master chef while making pancakes.

But Ohanian is not ready to pass on his ladle yet. He has taken the challenge to his heart and while Williams mocked him for missing out on the tradition, he stated, “If you come for the king Serena you better not miss.”

The Queen of Court now wants to be the Queen of Olympia’s favorite tradition. And she is not doing it discreetly and is openly calling out for a challenge.

Williams challenges Ohanian as she aims to replace him on the grill 

The 23-time Grand Slam champion has a long and exhaustive experience on the court. However, she does not mind learning and eventually acing the pancake-making skills on the griddle.

However, her competitor is her husband who has made Ariel, Moana, Peach from Super Mario, and other characters on the griddle. Williams started with rainbows and dogs, but she is not ready to back down against Ohanian.
