Serena Williams‘ husband, Alexis Ohanian, is one of those successful businessmen who will never regret not spending enough time with his daughter. The co-founder of Reddit has always had unique ideas about how to spend time with his five-year-old daughter, Olympia. To further enhance those memories, he established a Sunday tradition of cooking pancakes together. But with the passage of time, things are not the same.

The 40-year-old American businessman recently posted his most recent pancake design, but he also included a very distressing perspective. Ohanian made a veiled allusion to the fact that his five-year-old’s feelings about the pancakes have altered, and not for the better.

Serena Williams’ husband worried about his daughter’s blurred pancake interest

The 41-year-old American tennis legend’s husband recently took to his Instagram account to share a video of himself making an amazing pancake for his 5-year-old daughter. While he was fulfilling the pancake-making duty that he has been honing for years now, he also requested a pair of extra hands from his daughter but was left alone on his own.

Along with the video, he wrote, “LFG. New griddle thanks to @drdancake — I shouldn’t have used the nonstick spray 😖 and I gotta remember to do backgrounds to save those skinny appendages from breaking. #PapaPancakes Enchantress for Jr. I need to practice hands….” 

But that’s not the major highlight; after that, a fan commented about how it’s the sweetest and unique show of love anyone can ever do for their daughter and how Olympia can never forget these moments. In no time, the Reddit co-founder replied to the comment, stating how his five-year-old may be getting a little bored with his father’s pancake art. Ohanian wrote, “She better not! Lol she’s already getting jaded. ” 

While this tradition started during the pandemic, the American entrepreneur made sure to make it a perfect Sunday ritual that his daughter will remember for years. However, just a day ago, the dotting father also shared the reality of being demoted from a head chef to an assistant while his 5-year-old took control of the kitchen.

When Williams’ daughter took over the kitchen

Only a few days ago, the 40-year-old cofounder of Reddit took to Twitter to express how working in the kitchen with his daughter Olympia is not that easy. He posted videos of them creating cake together, including one in which the five-year-old was bossing over her father, as the head chef.

However, for the past few days, the five-year-old has become quite interested in preparing cakes on her own, with the help of her parents. She might be growing weary of pancakes because of her burgeoning interest in cake baking, which is another possible explanation.
