Maria Sharapova is all set to cruise along on a waterside court

The official water sponsor of the US Open, Evian, recently announced their floating tennis court that will go up on the Hudson River in September. The unique and premium tennis viewing experience has been labeled as the ‘SS evian’ and it is their brand ambassador, Maria Sharapova who has taken up the captain’s role.

The waterside court will sail on the historic Circle Line, celebrating the prestigious sporting event in New York. In honor of the championship match, the fans and guests on board can experience the truly innovative viewing experience of the Grand Slam event. They will get the opportunity to sit courtside on the first pink floating tennis court in the beautiful city.

Speaking about the extraordinary tennis experience, the 5 single Grand Slam champion said that she is quite excited to captain this extraordinary voyage. Meanwhile, the former US Open also emphasized the importance of staying hydrated in order to perform at optimum levels. She added, “I can’t wait to have fun with the fans and give everyone aboard the SS evian”.
