During a recent on-air announcement, host Marcus Buckland revealed that Amazon Prime had asked for an interview with Steve Simon in Cancun, but he chose not to participate. The decision raised questions about the WTA’s response to the ongoing court controversy, as former world No. 5 and tennis pundit Daniela Hantuchova commented, “He’s not really making things better.” As the WTA Finals continue, fans as well as everyone from the tennis community are eager to see how the situation unfolds and if any changes will be made to address the players’ concerns.

Simon’s denial of talking to the media indirectly made the situation even more complicated. However, unexpected sources recently came out to reveal the words from the CEO.
