In a 2022 segment with USTA Southern, Vickery talked about the impact of the Williams sisters on her. I think Venus and Serena kind of had the biggest impact on me just watching them practice watching them play, um, and, you know, obviously now we have so many like younger players, great juniors Alicia, Coco, Sloan you know we have these group of girls.” She further said, “I wish there were more of us on the tour but with the limited amount that we have, I feel like we have a really strong field. So, I think it’s very good.”
