What is tennis without some fashionable attire? Be it Maria Sharapova or Serena Williams, the WTA stars never compromised with their fashion for on-court stress. And now, recent WTA stars are following the footprint laid out by the legends of the game. As the WTA Tour Finals started in Riyadh, Coco Gauff stood out as fans hailed her as the best dressed again. Want to know how the decision was made?

One of the highlighting aspects of the ongoing WTA Tour Finals is the colorful attires of the players. From Iga Swiatek to Aryna Sabalenka, everyone brought their A-game to the scene. Gauff donned an all-purple top, and skirt with headband in her first match against colleague Jessica Pegula. She nailed her match and the outfit securing a 6-3 and 6-2 score in the center court.

Gauff will play next against Poland’s Iga Swiatek. The WTA number two wore a good-looking purple, pink, and back costume sponsored by On. Although Swaitek’s performances have been great over the last three years the same can’t be said about her attire. Despite winning browny points for her Riyadh costume, On received severe backlash for lackluster outfits.

Another uer wrote, “1. Coco 2. Pegula 3. Qinwen 4. Aryna 5. Barbie 6. Jasmine 7. Elena 8. Iga” as their preference. Here, Jessica Pegula rose to the second position. This American girl wore a bright blue dress by Adidas and received many compliments. However, she lost her fashion game and her first match to former partner Coco Gauff.

Throughout the comments, Gauff was selected as the best dressed. Why shouldn’t that be? This WTA star previously mesmerized her followers with stylish hairstyles at tournaments. Now, she again proved her multi-talented skills. Another fan joined the bandwagon and wrote, “Gauff > Pegula > Paolini > Sabalenka > Rybakina > Zheng > Swiatek > Krejcikova.” However, one girl who also stood on the list was Elena Rybakina, whose deep mauve outfit by Yonex with a nude green headband and red sneakers received fair compliments.

Iga Swiatek, who stood mostly in the last position in terms of fashion received an upgrade from the person who started the poll. “1. Pegula 2. Coco 3. Krejcikova 4. Rybakina 5. Zheng 6. Paolini 7. Iga 8. Aryna (bc of Nike’s lazy *ss),” he commented. This fan brought Sabalenka to the last. Despite standing in that position, the Belarusian’s black Nike outfit didn’t seem very bad. But it was boring nonetheless. She rose in her ranking but failed in her fashion game.
