Besides all the comments, Coco Gauff, the reigning US Open champion, who took down the Briton once back at the Australian Open 2023, liked the post, making it clear that the rise of Raducanu satisfies her.

The winning point came from a wide forehand by Pegula, leaving the 21-year-old Briton visibly relieved.
