Recently, Emma Raducanu shared Jodie Burrage’s picture from her hospital bed on Raducanu’s official Instagram platform’s story. In this picture, fans spotted Burrage wearing an arm sling to protect her wrist, while showing a thumbs up to her fans in the picture. Sharing the image, Ema Raducanu wrote- “@jodie_burrge wrists suck but you’re stronger. Raducanu further added two heart emojis and two hi-five emojis showing her respect and solidarity to the fellow British tennis player.

Emma Raducanu’s 2023 season went quite awful since she couldn’t attend many prestigious tournaments due to her wrist and ankle injuries. It was this season’s Abu Dhabi Open, where Raducanu scored a victory after being off the court for almost a year and a half. Raducanu defeated Marie Bouzkova by 6-4 and 6-1 with a straight victory at the ten out of eleven games at the match. It was truly an epic moment for Raducanu’s fans, who waited so long for their favorite tennis star to get back on the track.

However, after her victory, Emma Raducanu revealed that she went through difficult challenges as she had three surgeries in ten days to return to the court. This British tennis star delved deeper into her challenging days and spoke about it in detail.

Raducanu revealed her “pretty intense” days after three surgeries in ten days

In a recent interview with Prakash Amritraj and Steve Weissman on Tennis Channel, Raducanu spoke about her tough days in detail. She said- “Yeah I had three surgeries in ten days, which was pretty intense. I mean for two-three weeks, you can’t do anything because all that has to swell and all that, you can’t move like I had a scooter and I can’t even use crutches. It’s because of my wrist surgeries. So, it was really difficult and I was kind of swapping two weeks in a cast and then take that of rise and spin. It wasn’t necessarily smooth coming back.”
