‘Worked His A** Off’ – 59-Time Champion Martina Navratilova Defends Barack Obama as She Mocks Donald Trump’s Reign

Legendary tennis player and one of the most outspoken athletes ever, Martina Navratilova recently mocked a Twitter user who showed support toward the former President of the United States, Donald Trump. Moreover, the Twitter user even compared Trump with current President Joe Biden and former President Barack Obama, which irked Navratilova more.

It is worth noting that Navratilova has always been a staunch critic of Trump. She never misses an opportunity to mock the former President, mostly via social media.

Recently, American commentator and TV host, Greta Van Susteren, recently took a dig at President Joe Biden regarding him taking a vacation with his family. In reply, 59-time Major champion Martina Navratilova tweeted, “Are you serially questioning the quality of time Biden spends “presidenting” after what we went through with #TFG?!? That question should not even be asked.“

In response to this tweet, a Twitter user provided some statistics showing the price difference between Trump’s and Biden’s eras. Replying to that Twitter user, Navratilova said, “Did you ever question the time trump spent golfing? Didn’t think so…”

However, the Twitter user came back at Navratilova and questioned former President Barack Obama’s credibility as a President. Then, Navratilova ended the conversation by saying, “Obama hardly ever played golf- he played basketball and worked his a** off. donnie couldn’t even bother to read the daily security brief.“

Safe to say, Navratilova pretty much won the argument. In the past, we have seen Navratilova having banters with many Twitter users and pretty much destroyed them. Once she talked about serving the people by joining politics; however, she has yet to put her foot into politics.

Former Czech-American tennis player, Martina Navratilova, retired from professional tennis in 2006, at the age of 50. Before retiring, she piled up some numbers, which no player could possibly match, male or female.

As mentioned earlier, she won 59 Majors in her career; out of those 59 Majors, she won 18 singles titles, 31 doubles titles, and 10 mixed doubles titles. Interestingly, she retired from singles competition in 1994. Before that, she won 167 singles titles, the most in the history of tennis.

After 1994, she took a few years off but returned to tennis in early 2000, playing mainly in doubles tournaments. In terms of the doubles statistics, she won 177 titles, most by any player ever. Due to her sheer numbers, many still consider her the greatest tennis player of all time.
