Serena’s quest for 24th major title continues in 2022

It was in 1998 where Serena became a full-fledged professional tennis player on the WTA tour. Following that year, the American managed to capture her first-ever major title at the US Open, after defeating the likes of Kim Clijsters, Monica Seles, and Lindsay Davenport.

Ever since her first slam title, Serena never looked back as she broke record after record to become one of the greats to have ever played the sport. Currently, the American is in rehab after a torn hamstring. The former world no.1 is yet to make an announcement over her comeback tournament.

But, in all likelihood, Serena Williams might rest for the remainder of the season and come back to chase the elusive 24th slam title at the Australian Open next year.
