Cherelle Parker, who is an American politician, has been declared the 100 mayor of Philadelphia. This is the first time in the history of the city that a woman has been given this top position. Before this position, she served in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for around 10 years.

She posted about it on her Twitter account with the caption, “On Tuesday, Cherelle Parker was sworn in as Philadelphia’s 100th mayor, the first time in history the city has a woman in the top spot.

BJK’s support gives the new women’s hockey league a fast start

The tennis legend Billie Jean King put together a new hockey league for women, called the Professional Women’s Hockey League. The league has brought together the top women players in the world in hockey and set up a schedule of 72 games that will be played through May.

Before the playoffs began yesterday, she visited some of these players to wish them luck and also appreciate them for coming forward and fulfilling their dreams. Billie Jean King also mentioned how this marks the birth of women’s hockey, and this moment is very special for all of them.
