Even after multiple appeals, the ban hasn’t been lifted with the latest update of a 4-year ban for the Romanian. However, her coach and former Serena Williams‘ coach Patrick Mouratoglou has always been by her side. But, after certain failed attempts, it looks like Patrick has found solace in new things.

Recently, Patrick took to Instagram to announce his arrival in Germany as he prepares himself for the upcoming challenges in his life.

Serena Williams’ former coach shifts attention to Germany from Simona Halep

Renowned tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou recently took to Instagram to announce his arrival in Frankfurt, gearing up for the upcoming UTS Frankfurt event scheduled for September 18th. Mouratoglou, famously known for his tenure as Serena Williams’ former coach, has shifted his attention towards this exciting showdown in the tennis world.

While Mouratoglou did coach Simona Halep at one point in her career, he has shifted his attention from the coaching role. Simona Halep has been in a dire situation for the past 12 months with her doping ban. However, she has appealed multiple times that she is innocent but so far, her efforts have gone in vain.

As Mouratoglou sets his sights on the UTS Frankfurt event, it’s evident that he remains dedicated to shaping the future of tennis and helping players reach their full potential. Patrick Mouratoglou sparks his opinion on the Simona Halep debate

In a recent interview, Patrick went ahead to share his opinions citing that he has known Simona for a long time and he is quite confident that she hasn’t used any illegal substance during her time as a professional player. He further mentioned that the authorities have been unfair to her and that it is not at all acceptable.

“I know Simona’s integrity, and I have no doubt that she has never taken any banned substance. I sat through the entire two days of hearing with her, and I cannot believe that the tribunal has reached that decision based on the evidence and arguments I heard.” He further said, “The process and the ITIA have been totally unfair to Simona, and it is totally unacceptable. I hope that Simona will prevail at CAS, which is the only tribunal not controlled by the ITIA,” said Patrick Mouratoglou citing his opinion on the matter.

While this matter remains in constant light, further developments on the same will bring things to clarity. However, Patrick, at the moment, seems to have taken up a new challenge as he readies himself for what’s next to come.
