Former tennis star Maria Sharapova has completely let go of tennis from her world. Even though she had a tremendous playing journey throughout her career, she has now chosen to be a full-time mother to her beautiful children along with learning a new sport, pickleball. She is currently preparing along with tennis legend John McEnroe to play in the Pickleball Slam season 2.

They will be playing against Andre Agassi and his wife Steffi Graf. Apart from this, Sharapova prefers to spend time with her kids and family. Just recently, she shared on her social media how there is just one person who can get her out of the house as motherly duties keep her occupied.

Busy being a mother, Maria Sharapova talks about a special friend

After being blessed with two amazing children, Maria Sharapova certainly sidelined everything in her life. She even chose to sideline the only sport she played her entire life from 2001 to 2020 with a career-high ranking of being the number 1 in tennis. Sharapova is mostly occupied with her motherly duties. However, there is one such friend whom Sharapova can’t deny. It is her close friend Gabriela Hearst.

Gabriela Hearst is a designer, and she recently got Maria Sharapova to have dinner with her and to show up at her new store opening. Sharapova posted a story about this and wrote, “Only this woman can get me out of the house twice in a week”. She also tagged her friend in the post and the story was also a video of her teasing Sharapova.

Maria Sharapova and Gabriela Hearst share a very close-knit bond with one another that goes years back. This is not the first time Sharapova has prioritized her friend over anything. Previously, she has appreciated Hearst in public a lot of times and attended her store openings as well.

Even though Sharapova is extremely busy with her lifestyle at the moment given that she has to take care of 2 kids at home and also manage her schedule for pickleball, she continued to support her friend through the years. Even in September, Hearst hosted an opening of her store which Sharapova attended.

And again, today there was a store opening for Hearst, and Sharapova attended the store opening despite the fact that she has a lot going on in her life. This truly shows the bond the two of them share with one another.
