In August of last year, Sloane Stephens launched her body care brand, Doc & Glo, a name chosen as a tribute to her grandparents and strategically timed with the qualifying matches at the 2024 U.S. Open – a tournament she notably won in 2017. The brand’s name reflects her grandfather, “Doc,” an OB/GYN who delivered 60,000 babies, and her grandmother, “Glo,” a glamorous and community-minded individual. Beyond this personal inspiration, her experience in locker rooms during the COVID-19 pandemic also influenced the creation of the brand. Seven months later, on March 29, 2025, she announced via Instagram that Doc & Glo was named Clean Beauty Brand of the Year, prompting celebration with her husband and stepson this weekend.
Taking to her Instagram, on Saturday, Stephens shared an image with her husband and former striker of the US men’s national soccer team, Jozy Altidore. Stepson Cameron was also seen with them, enjoying a good time at Dave & Buster’s – an all-purpose American venue having restaurant, full bar, and a video arcade. “Saturday adventures”, Stephens simply wrote in the story while taking a group selfie with Altidore and Cameron.
Cameron, the son of Jozy Altidore from a previous relationship, has provided Sloane Stephens with the experience of stepmotherhood. Stephens, the 2017 US Open champion, became engaged to the professional soccer player three years prior to their 2022 wedding. Their relationship began after Stephens moved out of Boca Prep International School in Florida, where Altidore was a senior, leading to a period of separation. However, they reconnected in 2016, and their romance progressed swiftly. Following her marriage to Altidore, Stephens became Cameron’s stepmother.

In May 2024, Sloane Stephens delighted her followers with an Instagram post featuring ten slides that captured her enjoyable European vacation with her husband. The series showcased lighthearted moments, including the couple sharing drinks and savoring Italian cuisine. Notably, Stephens also shared a heartfelt Mother’s Day card from her stepson, Cameron, which read, “Happy Mother’s Day, Sloane. Come back to California, please.” This same message was later reposted to Stephens’ Instagram story, accompanied by her touching reply: “My heart.”
A month after, in June 2024, the former world No. 3 attributed her desire to have more children to her relationship with her 9-year-old stepson, Cameron. She elaborated on this, stating: “Yes, our son (Cameron) is nine and he’s great and makes me want to have more kids. I always knew I wanted to be a mom and have a big family. I love kids, so for me, becoming a stepmom was a very easy transition.” Safe to say, she has fully embraced that role!

Remember how Stephens, Altidore and Cameron attended the White House Easter Egg Roll back in April 2023?
Back then, former US President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden hosted the annual tradition. Back then, Stephens shared the highlights through pictures on her IG. She wrote, “Peak parent mode activated” due to performing parental duties, looking after her stepson and his cousin. Moreover, she also confessed to have missed taking pictures with husband Altidore. Well, how can you do that amidst the chaos of taking care of your children?
But hey, she was happy to see them having fun at the Easter Egg Roll. “Honestly, can’t believe I didn’t get any pictures of my husband today. He looked so handsome. We were so focused on the kids, we barely took any photos of us. & Yes, the boys had matching ties, we didn’t plan it but they also look so precious,” she concluded.
While it’s always good to spend time with family, what about her tennis life? Sadly, it’s yet to take a flight, once again, for Stephens.

Sloane Stephens’ comeback in 2025 season marred by injury
Sloane Stephens‘ 2025 season hasn’t turned out as expected. Back in January, she started the year with the Hobart International but was ousted early in R32 after losing against compatriot Ann Li. Then at the Australian Open, World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka eliminated her in the first round itself. The American WTA pro tried to bounce back last month at the Merida Open.
But once again, she couldn’t do much after crashing out in R32 against Croatia’s Petra Martić. On top of her poor form, Stephens then met with an unfortunate situation. After injuring her right ankle earlier this month, she had to withdraw from the BNP Paribas Open (Indian Wells) in the Californian desert. In an Instagram post, dated March 8, Stephens revealed,
“Got a little boo boo on my foot again 💔 Setbacks are never easy—physically or emotionally—but I trust the universe to guide me in the right direction. Still waking up grateful every day 🙏🏾 I’ll do my best to get back on court soon! Thank you for all the love and encouragement, love you the most ❤️” Later, her bestie and compatriot Madison Keys wished her a speedy recovery by “Sending you healing energy ❤️” in the comments.
