Coco Gauff’s legendary coach, Brad Gilbert, is getting annoyed with Europe hospitality! After traveling to a lot of places one after the other, the legendary American coach has one big complaint. Recently, the 62-year-old tennis coach came forward to express his frustration over a common problem with hotel bathrooms that made him scratch his head.

As he arrives in London for the Wimbledon Championships, Gilbert took to Twitter to share his frustrations with a strong take on the bathroom floor. He wrote, “Does anyone have good 👍 explanation ? 3 consecutive hotels 🏨 I stayed in Rome Paris now London, why the half glass shower door  🚿 seems to only get bathroom floor completely soaked, makes absolutely zero sense, they have have  had for over 40 years that I have been coming to Europe.”

A glass panel or curtain that covers only half of the shower space appears to be insufficient to stop water from leaking onto the bathroom floor. Because of this design, more water must be absorbed by spreading a towel on the floor. This arrangement is somewhat typical throughout the continent and is not exclusive to London.

While the partial enclosure is meant to give the bathroom a more open, breezy feel, it can also cause practical problems, such as a slippery floor due to spilled water. It’s a peculiar feature in European hotel bathrooms that many visitors must get used to.

But traveling from Rome to Paris to London posed problems for him. Gilbert suffered an issue with the hospitality for two of his stays in a row. Coco Gauff’s great instructor was served subpar food during his time in the City of Fashion.

Unpleasant experiences with hotels too frequent for Coco Gauff’s coach

Prior to his arrival in London, Gilbert accompanied Coco Gauff to the Roland Garros. Known as the city of love and the city of fashion, the capital of France missed its mark on food. As the American coach sat down to dine with daughter Zoe, he was quick to share the disappointing experience both had. However, the situation was more surprising than just poor service.

Need to vent just had a 2+ hr dinner 🥘 at my hotel 🏨 that was beyond shocking 😳 1st time eating there for dinner in 14 days, took forever and they served Zoe raw chicken 🍗 then brought back after 45 mins with same silverware 🥄 on table and got everything wrong on my order…..,” Gilbert posted on X.”

Chances of Gilbert returning to the same restaurant in Paris are minute. With one bad experience after another, his chances of simply going to Europe are diminishing quickly. What other travel factors have disappointed you, like Gilbert? Let us know in the comments!
