Is Emma Navarro the dark horse of Wimbledon this year? What are your thoughts?

It has all come down to the final 8 at Wimbledon and the hunger to get on top is alive and well. With some of the only best names remaining in the tournament, passion and determination are driving these WTA stars. The same has been the case with Emma Navarro. Coming into the event as a non-favorite, she has pulled off some of the biggest shockers and is now aiming to make it through to the final 4.

However, standing in her way will be the dominant Jasmine Paolini. The Italian sensation, who is coming on the back of a dominant run at the French Open has shown that she is capable of making her way into other another grand slam finals. With the stage set for an epic showdown between the two stars, who will come out on top?

Ranked No. 7, Jasmine Paolini reached the quarterfinals after defeating Sara Sorribes Tormo, Greetje Minnen, Bianca Andreescu, and Madison Keys. In the 4th round, Paolini advanced after Keys retired due to injury at 6-3, 6-7(6), 5-5. Paolini has a 12-14 record on grass in recent years. When it comes to the head-to-head stats between the two players, Emma Navarro has clearly shown her dominance against her Italian rival and managed to maintain a 100% winning streak.
