But before that, the reigning US Open champion recently appreciated a fan’s talent and was moved by her dedication.

A Twitter user recently took to her social media handle to share a sketch of the 2nd-ranked tennis player. She wrote with some beautiful pictures of the sketch, “Likes and rts are appreciated!!! Hope Coco can see this.” Looking into that, the 20-year-old tennis player reshared the post and was mesmerized by the sketch. Gauff wrote, “This is amazing! so talented! Thank you.”

Gauff’s attire, which includes the pleated skirt and bracelet, captures the dynamic aspect of tennis. A few months ago, Tennis Channel’s official Instagram page posted a video in which viewers saw Coco Gauff proudly wearing a bracelet that a young admirer had given her. In the video, the interviewer asked Gauff, “Let’s talk about this bracelet that you are wearing. You wanna share with people?”

In response, the reigning US Open champion said, “Yeah, a lil girl gave me this bracelet. I used to make these when I was younger, so it’s giving me flashbacks, and we kinda traded—I gave her my headband for the bracelet. She didn’t ask for the headband, but there’s no point in taking it without giving something in return.”

The Tennis Channel further highlighted this heartwarming trade by captioning the video, “Headband for a bracelet 🤃#rolandgarros.” However, just a few days ago, the 2nd-ranked tennis player made a fan’s day, as she met Maurice, a young German fan who runs a Gauff dedicated fan page.

Maurice, a young German fan who adores Coco Gauff and has made it a mission to make others fall in love with her too, was someone she met while she was in Berlin. The hitting partner of the 20-year-old set up the encounter. In addition, the former US Open champion said, “He DM’d my hitting partner saying ‘Oh, I’m going to be here’. I was hoping he would come up to me.”

During Gauff’s autograph session, Maurice introduced himself following a match against Ekaterina Alexandrova. After the meeting, the fan stated, “This was my dream. I’m so happy.” However, the young American never disappoints her fans and always makes time out for them, painting a connection with them.
