But even so many years after the film’s debut, tennis enthusiasts continued to show their devotion to it by putting the 2021 movie higher than all other tennis films.

Starting from the very first movie that was inspired by Billie Jean King’s battle for equal pay. Similarly, there was one more movie nominated in that category that focused on a particular rivalry, that is listed among one of the popular rivalries, that is Between McEnroe and Borg. Apart from them, there were two other movies including King Richard, and a tournament-based movie Wimbledon.

Some fans ranked their choices, starting from the best to the worst.

While for others it was a clear pick, nothing other than Will Smith’s acting as Richard Williams.

In addition, a lot of fans flooded the comment section with the proper reasons for choosing the movie.

Moreover, a fan was also stuck between McEnroe’s movie and Williams’ Biopic.

King Richard didn’t create chaos at the box office 

The biopic was anticipated to be a blockbuster when it was released in 2021. Everyone thought the film about the father of a 23-time Grand Slam champion who lived a life free of tennis would be a tremendous success. The movie’s production cost was about $50 million, but the math doesn’t add up.
