Recently, Serena Williams and her husband Alexis Ohanian attended the Met Gala 2021. During the fashion mega-event, Alexis had donned a Crypto Punk of her wife on his suit. Later on, he got the approval of American artist Virgil Abloh and showed off his six other Serena Williams Crypto Punk characters on Instagram. Also, the Reddit co-founder believes that each one of them is a profitable investment for their daughter Olympia.
Crypto Punks are 10,000 unique generated characters that are trending in the investment market. And as an advocate of cryptocurrency, Ohanian has made this move. Interestingly, the American investor and entrepreneur also revealed his favorite Serena Williams Crypto Punk of the six.

Alexis Ohanian’s Serena Williams Crypto Punk collection
At first, Alexis Ohanian was looking for his Crypto Punk character. However, when he couldn’t find one, he searched for his wife’s and got his hands on all he could. Moreover, he gave one to Serena Williams and kept the other six with himself.
He said, “When I first looked for punks a while ago, I looked for a Punk that looked like me, so when none turned up, I checked for my wife and found a treasure trove. I got Serena 1, but also got another 6.”

In his Instagram post, the husband also revealed his likely favorite of the six, which shows Serena wearing a VR set, “The VR #SerenaPunk might be my favorite. These will belong to Olympia Ohanian one day. [It] makes me feel like I should’ve started a Rainbow wallet for her by now.”
Besides investing in her future, Alexis and Serena spend most of their time with their daughter Olympia. What’s interesting is that their daily adventures are now internet sensations.

When will Serena return to the tennis tour?

For now, the 23-time Grand Slam champion is recovering from a hamstring injury. Accordingly, Serena did not participate in any tournament post her retirement from Wimbledon.
The American tennis queen has not revealed any plans for her return date yet. However, it is most likely that she would make her comeback near or at the Australian Open 2022.

Hopefully, Serena will lift her 24th Grand Slam next year. Only time will tell if she does or not.
