Venus Williams has been an icon both on and off the court. Her assertive aura both on the court and on the camera has always been a treat for the eyes. Hence, the Germany-based Zoo Magazine paid an ode to an iconic 19-year-old photoshoot that it had with the tennis star. In black and white, Venus Williams established her camera supremacy with imposing and bold poses in multiple shots.

The seven-time Grand Slam champion has always had a soft corner for art. Even 20 years back, when she got an opportunity to be a part of an art magazine, she made sure to deliver it in style.

Apart from tennis, fashion, and art have always been close to the heart of the tennis legend. This is something that she has garnered and cultivated from her early days. One such instance has come into the picture after the German magazine, Zoo paid a tribute to an iconic photoshoot with her.

Venus Williams gave off a bold, assertive aura throughout the black-and-white-themed photoshoot. Photographed by Phillip Cometti, Williams posed midway in the air. In yet another pose, she balanced her back on a revolving stool. Wearing a bob-cut wig, Venus Williams stared right into the camera in one picture.

In a different picture, she flaunted her long hair as she stretched her legs. Other unique poses were where she faced backward while squatting and balanced herself on a table. The 2004 photoshoot pays tribute to the tennis star who was featured in their third issue.

Now, the art, fashion, literature, architecture, etc.-based magazine is going to launch its 80th edition along with celebrating 20 years of its foundation. This same off-court camera prowess has continued to steal hearts even now.

Venus Williams has always made sure to serve strongly both on and off the court. Recently, Williams was featured on the cover of Paper magazine. Adorning an unconventional chic look with blue hair and bangs, she aced the photoshoot.

Wearing a similar blue fishnet dress with knee-high boots, Williams captured hearts. Therefore, her former coach, Rick Macci, too, could not stop himself from praising the “Compton Comet.”
