Venus Williams didn’t get a great start in the 2021 tennis season. The American legend couldn’t get past the second round at the Australian Open 2021 and didn’t enjoy any success at the Miami Open 2021 as well. Fans are aware that she is already 40 and her retirement can come anytime soon.
Those who know Venus Williams know that she is not very fond of kids. However, in a recent podcast, she mentioned that that thing about her changed soon after the arrival of Olympia.

“It’s (her habit of not liking children) definitely stopped from here,” began Venus. “Because I’m definitely like a, I don’t know a wicked step-mother. Horrible. So, it’s definitely stopped with time.”

Serena Williams’ daughter has definitely brought this change in her aunt, Venus. She is the one who loves her the most and also takes care of her like her own daughter.
Venus Williams still refuses to have kids of her own
When asked that if she is ready to have kids of her own, Venus declined politely. The former World No.1 player believes that she is still not ready to take up the job of a mother.

“If I’m ready to have my own kids? No. I barely can take care of me. My coach brings me water, brings me everything in case I forget… It’s a lot of work. It’s the most important job,” added the 7-time Grand Slam champion.
Venus Williams feels that if she can’t take of herself, she’ll surely not be able to take care of her own children. She stated that it is certainly not the right time for her to think in that direction.

Venus Williams will soon begin her clay-court campaign. Even though she is 40, she is not giving any signs of retirement and fans believe she can hold on for some more time. Will Venus be able to win a WTA title before bidding goodbye to the sport?
