Will Smith previously made headlines for slapping the popular comedian and the 2022 Oscar host, Chris Rock who made a a joke about Jada’s shaved head. The American actress, who has long been coping with alopecia, later confessed that she initially believed that the incident was staged. In the process, the 52-year-old made a surprising revelation about how she and her husband have already been separated since 2016.

Notably, Jada was quite shocked when the American actor and rapper addressed her as ‘wife’ during the contentious incident at the Oscars. The talk-show host’s recent public disclosures have attracted a lot of mixed reactions online, with the renowned NBA analyst, Stephen A. Smith criticizing her.

On his YouTube channel, the American sports TV personality candidly asserted that Will Smith doesn’t deserve what his estranged wife has done to him. Stephen further imposed a question mark on Jada’s ‘decency’ and ‘respect’ towards a man who still addresses her as his wife. However, the NBA analyst’s direct comments didn’t sit well with the tennis legend, Martina Navratilova as she lashed out at him on Twitter.

The Hall of Famer tweeted, “Why the eff is this guy talking about Jada I have no idea… so many people sticking their noses into people’s lives when they have no idea what actually went on.”

The former tennis ace further replied, “Right on” to a fan who said, “Why does anyone care what he has to say? I’ve only seen him for a few seconds at a time, and while he obviously thinks his opinions are important, he’s clearly not worth listening to. To be clear, I have no idea whether I agree with him, it’s the arrogance that turns me off.”
