She started the year by winning the Australian Open title by defeating her sister, Venus Williams, in the final. Before the tournament, she discovered that she’ll soon be giving birth to her first child.

After the Grand Slam Down Under, Serena took a break from tennis. Later that year, she gave birth to her daughter, Olympia. Subsequently, she tied the knot with Reddit co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, in a private ceremony. The couple looked gorgeous in their wedding outfits. Recently, Serena came across her wedding picture.

In the recent video released by Vogue, Serena looked back upon some of the most memorable moments in her life. She came across her wedding picture and describing their outfits, she said, “This is my wedding picture. I got married. I had this insane Alexander McQueen dress, and I went through a stage where I loved capes, so like Sarah made this awesome cape for me.”
Further, she added, “I was breastfeeding at the time, so my chest got bigger by the minute. Alexis looks handsome there. I was kinda wanting him to wear black, and when I got there, he had on blue, and I’m like, why are you wearing blue? But I didn’t say it. I told him after though, I was like, you shoulda wore black. Yeah, this is, we look very happy here.”

Ticket sales soar at the US Open
With Serena nearing retirement, ticket sales at the last Grand Slam tournament of the season have gone up. It will be the final tournament of her professional career. Recently, she bid an emotional adieu to Canada after playing her last match in the country.
