Is Lee McKenzie's passion for motorsport genuine, or is it all about family legacy?

Starting from motor sports and presenting tennis at the Wimbledon. The presenter, Lee Mckenzie, has traversed quite a distance since the moment she fell in love with the sporting world. However, who introduced her to the demanding yet exciting world of sports? Did she play or go right straight to presenting and narrating the stories and happening to the viewers? It all started with her father’s passion.

In an interview dated July 4th, with Hello Magazine, McKenzie detailed her beginning. The foundation of her career as a presenter is somewhere linked to her dad being a fleet street journalist. And it seems his curiosity was inherited by his daughter, “as being the annoying child”, she would make sure to attach herself to her father to watch all the sporting events.

She hopped to various sports, be it rugby, equestrian, or any other. If the sports were on, McKenzie was there! “It was a great grounding. I’d go to whatever sport was on–usually rugby–on a Saturday and I’d get the Monday morning off school to go to the office and write up the rugby report and an equestrian column. I didn’t consider doing anything else.”-said the presenter. However, there came a time when the motorsport stole her heart.
