Going from Wimbledon to the US Open series, Raducanu needed someone familiar by her side. As a result, she went back to Richardson, who developed her tennis basics as the head coach of Bromley Tennis Centre when she was a young girl.
Undeniably, her decision paid off well in the end. At the US Open 2021, Raducanu became the first-ever qualifier to win a Grand Slam in the history of the sport. Hence, as an 18-year-old, she already has her name in the history books of the sport.
