At just 20 years old, Coco Gauff is showing the world that no dream is too big if you’re willing to work for it! Fresh off an incredible title win at the China Open and a deep run to the semifinals at the Wuhan Open, Gauff is proving again that she’s a force to be reckoned with on the courts. But after a grueling month of back-to-back matches and relentless competition, what’s better than enjoying a well-deserved break?
Well, how about starting your day with breakfast from a brand that you’re proudly the ambassador for? After returning home, Gauff didn’t miss a beat in embracing a moment of comfort and pride, sharing her excitement over enjoying a meal from none other than, Wheaties. In her Instagram story, Gauff shared a picture of the orange box that features her on it and shared her excitement. She was also seen savoring the meal as she extended her gratitude to the cereal brand.
The American tennis sensation can be heard expressing her excitement over being featured by the brand, just a year after she became one of the youngest players to clinch the US Open title. Captioning the story, the star player wrote, “waiting all month to get home to finally try it hahaha.” She also added how tiring her journey was but signified that it was worth it given the excitement she witnessed by seeing her on the Wheaties box. “Also I look a mess post 30 hours of travel so not too much 😭,” Gauff wrote. Her latest off-court achievement was also proudly shared by her mother, Candi Gauff.

Taking to her Instagram, Candi posted pictures that depicted moments from Coco’s tour. It also included a bowl of Wheaties cereal, with the box featuring Gauff’s image kept in front of it. “Finally home from my 3 week trip to China with Coco. Now, I can finally eat my “breakfast of champions” cereal,” she wrote on Tuesday.
Earlier, KC Glaser, senior brand experience manager for Wheaties, shared the news of Coco being featured by the company and expressed admiration for her. “We are thrilled to recognize Coco as our newest Wheaties champion amid her incredible season on the court and her ongoing activism work off the court. For the unversed, Coco Gauff is only the 13th tennis athlete to be featured by the brand and joined the likes of Serena Williams and Billie Jean King.
The star player had earlier expressed her excitement over this feat and said, “It is an honor to be on the next Wheaties box.” Similarly, her mother also beamed with pride back in August and took to her Instagram to share a couple of stories and posts, lauding her daughter’s success. And this is not the first time Gauff’s mother has joined her in celebrating her success.
