American tennis player Jessica Pegula played quite well at the Indian Wells 2021. She managed to reach the quarter-finals of the tournament but lost to Victoria Azarenka in straight sets there. The final scoreline of the match was 4-6, 2-6.

Soon after her Indian Wells 2021 campaign, Jessica Pegula announced that she would get married. Fans became quite excited after this and their wait finally got over.

Jessica Pegula ties the knot with Taylor Gahagen

Pegula married her long-time boyfriend, Taylor Gahagen. The American tennis player wore a lovely white dress and while her husband Taylor was in a magnificent blue suit. The wedding took place at the Biltmore Estate, Asheville, North Carolina, United States.

Interestingly, there were some quite popular guests at the wedding. Taylor Townsend, Asia Muhammad, and Samantha Crawford added charm to the evening. Australian Open 2021 runner-up, Jennifer Brady, was also present at the wedding ceremony and shared the couple’s walk on her Instagram story.

“Spectacular evening celebrating the newly weds,” wrote Brady in the caption of her Instagram story.

Who is Taylor Gahagen?

Pegula’s husband, Taylor Gahagen, is actually a financial analyst who works in the United States of America. Even though not much is known about Gahagen since he keeps his social media accounts private, Pegula’s posts suggest that he loves to play golf. On the other hand, Pegula is quite open about her relationship with him and often posts his pictures on her Instagram handle.

Pegula and Gahagen dated for about six years before officially getting married. Intriguingly, Gahagen runs a dog rescue centre- ‘A Lending Paw’- that rescues dogs, takes care of them and supplies them with the essential food products.

Fans are really happy for Jessica Pegula and hope that she lives a happy life with Taylor Gahagen. As a far as tennis is concerned, she is expected to take a short break from the sport and then make a comeback. Will she be able to end her 2021 season on a high?
