The two share a deep bond and have always been there for each other. Back in 2014, the Danish was going through a heavy heartbreak. Her fiance broke off the marriage days before their planned wedding. A shattered Wozniacki got comfort from her friend and fellow tennis star Serena Williams. She not only planned a trip to cheer her friend up but also did something funny out there.
Serena Williams stages wedding gatecrash
The two tennis players went on a vacation as Wozniacki needed a break. Both of them hit the beach in Miami. Showing her mischievous side, the former world number 1 gatecrashed someone’s wedding going on there. She shared the pictures from the wedding, with a leopard print swimsuit on.
“Wedding crasher!! Congrats!” the tennis star captioned one shot, which showed her posing between the bride and groom wearing high-cut swimwear.
Wozniacki later came out of the grief and made a return to court in the French Open that year.
