The tennis veteran Billie Jean King knows it all. The American tennis legend recently talked about why counting money earned by female tennis players should not be considered a luxury as compared to the male tennis player. Not only that, she also listed the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Serena Williams example. And how she has found a way to give back to society with all the luxury she created for herself.

And recently, the 79-year-old tennis veteran stood in support of how making money was also a part of the dream when they started the original 9 other than just competing at an equal level.

She said, “I’ll give you an idea. You know that what we, did you know we had hardly anything but Serena Williams made almost 100 million on the court hundreds of millions off the court? But she has an investment company. Serene Investments, that she’s going to give back and try to help women and particularly women of color. So, I think it’s great because if she didn’t have that money like our generation.”

The former whole number one also discussed how they could be able to aid people in the same way that the younger generation is doing with their money. The veteran tennis player, though, has previously discussed how the 41-year-old American tennis star was fulfilling her goal.
King is proud of the way Williams is living her dream
