Iga Swiatek has undoubtedly been the most impressive player of 2022 so far. The newly placed World No. 1 has won three back-to-back WTA 1000 titles, and currently holds a 17-0-win streak. She first won the Qatar Open, followed by a title in Indian Wells, and the last one coming in Miami. However, winning the titles had much more in the bag for Iga rather than just the trophy and the cash prize. Winning back-to-back, Swiatek has written her name in the history books by becoming the first player to win the opening 3 WTA 1000 events in the same year.
