Once you start loving tennis, the passion just keeps increasing and there’s no going back. Venus Williams is an apt example for a person who has been dedicating her life to the sport for more than two decades. The 40-year-old was recently trading volleys with an upcoming tennis star!
Venus Williams is no longer the player she was a decade ago. The seven-time Grand Slam champion was once ruling the WTA circuit along with her younger sister Serena. But as time came calling, she had to pave way for the future generation.
Likewise, Venus is also taking responsibility and preparing budding stars for their professional journey! The eldest Williams sister was spotted exchanging volleys with uprising tennis star Kamya Nair.

Venus Williams has been around for so many years now. The achievements she has amassed and her contributions to the game are invaluable. But as age started catching up, she has been unable to replicate some of her stellar form on the tennis court.
The former World No.1 experienced a form slump and crashed out of several tournaments in the first round. Similar results at all three Majors in 2020 came out as bitter moments for the 40-year-old.
After crashing out of Roland Garros, Williams mentioned how there’s nothing more left to strive for this year. “It’s really just about going back and re-evaluating and moving on as quick as possible. It’s been a very long year of quarantine. Now I’ll get to rest. I’m looking forward to that,” she said.
