Serena Williams, for long, has been one of the most loved players on the tour. In the opening round of Wimbledon last year, she suffered a right hamstring injury, forcing her to withdraw from the tour for the remaining year. Even though she has been out since then, the former World No. 1 regularly keeps her fans and followers updated about her life happenings through her social media handles.
However, Williams is not the only one in her family who keeps her social media updated. She is joined by her husband Alexis Ohanian, who also keeps the world updated about him and his family’s daily happenings through his social media handles. His story often features himself, his wife Serena Williams, and their daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

Yesterday was no different. Alexis Ohanian took to his Instagram, putting up a series of stories. The stories saw the family spending some quality time with each other while sitting in the car.
Alexis Ohanian’s Instagram story
Alexis Ohanian’s Instagram story featured wife Serena and daughter Olympia. In the story, the two were also accompanied by a third person; during their return from a fashion show. Serena, along with their daughter Olympia were dressed top to toe. On one hand, where Serena opted for a black dress, on the other hand, Olympia was seen in a brown check shirt.
The dresses weren’t the only thing to look out for. What caught the fan’s attention was Serena’s way of making their daughter Olympia enjoy the car ride. Serena showed the highest level of concentration as she indulged in the hand-clapping game ‘slide’. In the game, both the players had to clap on the opposite side of the other player’s hand. The game ended with all the 3 laughing their way off.

Serena Williams in 2021
Serena Williams ended her 2020 season citing an Achilles injury just before her second-round match at the Roland Garros. After recovering from the injury, Serena started her 2021 season at the WTA 500 Yarra Valley Classic. Entering the tournament as the 5th seed, Williams got a first-round bye. Using that as an advantage, Serena cruised through the initial rounds to reach the semi-finals. However, the run was short as she suffered another injury, forcing her to withdraw before her semi-final clash against Ashleigh Barty.
Somehow managing to recover, Williams entered the Australian Open. The 7-time Australian Open champion had a decent run in the tournament; before falling to 3rd seeded Naomi Osaka in the semifinals.
Williams further faced two 2nd round exits in WTA tournaments before entering the 2021 Roland Garros. However, the 3-time French Open champion couldn’t show up in the vintage form, crashing in the fourth round in Paris. The French Open was followed by a first-round exit from Wimbledon after suffering a hamstring injury.
