Probably the greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, announced his retirement from the NFL yesterday. The 7-time Super Bowl champion’s announcement shocked the entire world. Brady is widely regarded as the GOAT of NFL. Interestingly, the ‘GOAT’ of tennis, Serena Williams, is also a huge fan of the 44-year-old.
In 2016, 23-Grand Slam winner Serena Williams met her favorite NFL player Tom Brady, and she posted it on her social media. Not only Serena, many sporting legends from all around the world were big fans of the quarterback. After Brady’s announcement, the video of Williams and Brady’s interaction resurfaced.

The time Serena Williams got star-struck after meeting Tom Brady
Serena Williams met Tom Brady in 2016, and it was hilarious to watch. Serena really was in awe and got star-struck after meeting Tom. In that video, Serena said, “Sorry that everyone knows you’re my favorite.” In reply, Tom said, “And you’re mine.”
That was a surreal moment for the tennis star, as she could not believe that she met Tom Brady. Serena said, “the recovery after seeing Tom Brady… Oh My God,”
WTA recently posted that video on social media, wishing a happy retirement to Tom Brady.

One GOAT retires, but what about the other GOAT?
Tom Brady finally ended his 22-year-old career with his head held high. During his entire career, Brady won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Also, he has five Super Bowl MVP awards in his bag.

Meanwhile, Serena Williams is currently recovering from an injury she sustained last year at Wimbledon. The 40-year-old has been chasing her 24th Grand Slam title since 2017. However, she was unsuccessful despite coming close a few times.
