Swiss professional Belinda Bencic returned home wearing both her medals won at Tokyo Olympics 2020. Accordingly, she and the other Swiss athletes saw a grand welcome from a big crowd at the airport. All the athletes even posed together afterwards.

In particular, Bencic won both the gold and the silver medal in the women’s singles and doubles event, respectively. She even claimed that she won them for Swiss tennis legends Roger Federer and Martina Hingis.

Besides, Bencic defeated the Czech Republic professional Marketa Vondrousova in a spectacular three-set contest, winning it 7-5, 2-6, 6-3. Next, she and partner Viktorija Golubic lost to reigning French Open champions Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova.
