However, Rodionova has been trying hard to get into the top 100 for the past few years. Many in her position would give up the struggle and choose different career paths. But she continued to strive and fought against all odds.

She has finally been rewarded for her efforts. The 34-year-old made it into the top 100 after winning the first round of Hua Hin Championships. She beat Yuan Yue in three sets to finally reach a prominent stage in the sport.

After she won her bout, she couldn’t help but shed tears of happiness. She sat down on her bench and put a towel over her head to hide her face. Although she just entered the top 100, many tennis fans were already aware of her and congratulated her for her resilience.
