Former American tennis star Martina Navratilova is a popular figure on the internet. The 65-year-old is pretty active on Twitter, giving her opinion on various matters related to tennis. However, the tennis expert also takes out time to watch other sports. One such sport is American football. Recently, the 18-time Grand Slam champion shared a funny video of the game on Twitter.

Martina Navratilova shares a hilarious football video

The legendary tennis star shared a hilarious video from a football game between Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and MISSISSIPPI Mississippi State Bulldogs.

In the video, we can see the players running behind the ball and falling awkwardly. Sharing the video Navratilova wrote, “Oops.”

Further, a fan reacted to the video by saying, “Fall on the ball!….fall on the ball!” Later, the 65-year-old replied, “Nope- they all wanted the glory of scooping it up on the bounce and running it in for a touchdown… but in any case they moved the ball the right direction.”

Navratilova refrains from calling Serena Williams a GOAT

There has always been a debate about Serena Williams being the greatest tennis player of all time. As the legendary tennis player retired, the issue was fresh again. Notably, the 40-year-old ended her career with 23 Grand Slam titles to her name. Speaking about it as Serena played her last match, Navratilova skipped calling Serena the GOAT.

Instead of that, the 65-year-old explained how it’s not fair to compare players from different generations. Speaking further, she addressed Serena as the greatest in the last two generations. However, the 18-time Grand Slam champion believes the importance of Majors has increased now.

As in their time, the year-ending championship used to be a big thing, and she won it eight times. Further, she also spoke about the irregularity of the scheduling of events like the Australian Open and the French Open in their time.
