Despite her competitive nature on the court, the American legend is friendly and kind-hearted once she steps out of it. She has good relations with her opponents and has even made close friends with several players that she has played against. Recently, a video surfaced of Serena’s wonderful gesture towards a fan.

Serena Williams’ gift for a senior fan

During one of the editions of the Wimbledon Championships, the former World Number 1 happily accepted the request from a senior fan for an autograph after the match. The fan, who was shaking while Serena signed an autograph for him, had a gentle smile on his face. Subsequently, Serena event went to take a selfie with him, making his day and a moment to cherish for a lifetime.

Last month, the 40-year-old announced her return to tennis. She received a wildcard entry to participate in the singles event at Wimbledon. However, her comeback didn’t last long as she lost against France’s Harmony Tan in a thrilling first-round contest.

Serena opens up about her former coach Patrick Mouratoglou

During an interview, the 23-time Grand Slam champion drew parallels between her father and Mouratoglou’s coaching methods. Talking about this, she said, “When I met Patrick, I wasn’t looking for a new coach, I was just looking for some advice and I loved what he said and he had a very similar coaching style to my dad and he didn’t try to change my game.”
