It has been a high-level drama ongoing in response to former POTUS Donald Trump’s charges for the 2020 election. The 77-year-old faced charges of using “unlawful means” to subvert the 2020 presidential election’s results. Earlier this week, Trump made an appearance at a court in Washington D.C. and pleaded not guilty. In addition to this, Trump is facing two other criminal cases against him. It has been turbulent times for Trump, having seen his stocks go for a toss ever since these cases emerged.

Further, social media is abuzz with news of Trump’s criminal charges. While some have backed him, others have had brutal opinions on the former POTUS. Amongst them was tennis legend Martina Navratilova.

What did Martina Navratilova say about Donald Trump?

The 66-year-old tennis icon is very active on social media and regularly shares her opinions on a variety of subjects – from sports to politics. On this occasion, she took to Twitter to slam a fan backing Donald Trump. A fan account of the former POTUS posted, “Raise your hand if you agree with Elon Musk saying President Trump is NOT GUILTY.” Responding to that opinion, Navratilova said, “Guilty as sin.”

Earlier this year, Trump was indicted for his handling of classified documents following his term after he left the White House.

The 77-year-old received huge support from Billionaire Elon Musk. The Tesla CEO used social media platforms to back Trump.

As the news broke out about Trump’s indictment, Musk took to Twitter and said, “There does seem to be far higher interest in pursuing Trump compared to other people in politics. Very important that the justice system rebut what appears to be differential enforcement or they will lose public trust.”

Apart from Trump’s ongoing political drama, Navratilova is also vocal about various other socio-political issues. Safe to say, she will not back down from having an argument on social media, just like she wouldn’t back down against any tough competitor on the tennis court during her playing years.
