Venus Williams Shares Her Olympic Records
In a recent Instagram story, Venus Williams recalled her Olympic glory. The official handle of the Olympics originally posted a story, giving tribute to the legend for her impeccable performance in the Olympics over the years. Venus shared the post to her story with the caption ‘Memories.’
Notably, Venus has been the most decorated Olympic tennis player in American history. She has won three Gold Medals in the doubles category, one Gold Medal in the singles category, and a Silver Medal in mixed doubles.

In her most recent Olympic appearance in 2016 at Rio, Venus teamed up with fellow American tennis player Rajeev Ram. The duo reached the finals of the event but were defeated in a tough game against their compatriots Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Jack Sock. However, for the first time since 1996, Venus missed out on participating in the Olympic games last year.
The Records of Sister Duo Serena and Venus
The Williams sisters share a deep bond with each other as they grew up together. Also, their father, Richard Williams, coached them both in the early stage of their tennis career. Today, the sisters have set a different benchmark in terms of achievements. If we look individually at the records, the younger sister has done better with 23 Grand Slam titles to her name and a single Gold Medal in the Olympics.

Talking about Venus, she has seven Grand Slam titles to her name and a Gold Medal in the Olympics. However, the sister duo has been equally effective as a pair in doubles. They have won a record of 14 titles in doubles together. Not to forget, they also won three Olympic Gold Medals together for the United States of America.
