The pictures, which show Venus doing rigorous drills, demonstrate her steadfast dedication and concentration as she prepares for her expected comeback. While the 43-year-old tennis player has no plans to retire, even her childhood tennis coach, Rick Macci, shared his take on the American’s longevity on the court.

Earlier this year, on an episode of the Match Point Canada podcast, Macci said, “She loves to play. It’s must-see TV. Everybody loves V. She is gonna do it when she wants to. She’ll do it [retire] when she is ready. She just loves to play, she just loves to be out there. I mean she has nothing to prove.”

Macci, who has coached both the Williams sisters, provided Venus with some comforting predictions about her tennis career. He claimed that her enthusiasm for the game is still as strong and unwavering as it has always been. However, as her comeback approaches, the glimpse into her training regimen has only fueled speculation and excitement among fans, who are eager to see what Venus will bring to the court next at the US Open.

Her devoted followers have been energized by her recent return to practice, as one admirer posted on social media, “Miami Gardens 40+ USTA league about to get rocked.” Another die-hard fan mentioned that he would watch it as a fan, but he was not sure about the veteran running on the court. “Will she win? Most likely not. Will I still torture myself and watch? YES!” the fan wrote.
