As the latest edition of the Super Bowl is almost underway, the American tennis icon recently participated in Dove’s new initiative, #KEEPHERCONFIDENT. In her latest Instagram stories, Venus Williams opened up about how she came up with a ‘game plan’ as she took on coaching duties for young female athletes. While sharing a video clip from the ground and tagging Russell Wilson’s wife, Ciara, the WTA superstar said, “Coming up with our game plan! We named a play the ‘One-Two Step’ @ciara”

Taking note of her football coaching prowess, the American singer could hold herself back from lauding Willimas. She reshared the post on her Instagram story with the caption, “So cute! I love this! Coach @venuswilliams #GirlPower”. As she took part in this noble initiative, the 7-time singles Grand Slam champion also motivated the young participants, as witnessed by a video clip in which they were getting ‘hyped for the big game.’ Williams also added the captions, “Getting hyped for the big game!” and “Go Team!”
After her new stint in a totally disparate game, the 43-year-old player revealed that she was quite ‘excited’ to participate in this initiative ‘to help nurture girls’ self-belief and confidence’. She stated, “I am excited to be working with Dove on this initiative to help nurture girls’ self-belief and confidence, foster a positive environment, and shift the conversation from appearance to capability.”
