Venus and Serena Williams’ 81YO Father ‘King’ Richard’s Weird Hope That Triggered ‘Explosive Anger’ in Daughters Unveiled in Disruptive ‘Compton’ Confession

It is a well-known fact that both Serena Williams and Venus Williams reached the pinnacle of tennis glory with the training they received from their coach Rick Macci and father Richard Williams when they were young. The two worked together to create new strategies for the two sisters, ensuring their drive to win would be the highest. Recently, Macci talked about the peculiar thing that Richard Williams loved to see when his daughters were playing, increasing their ‘Compton Rage’. 

Macci has talked about the dedication shown by the two sisters many times. In one of his older posts on social media, he talked about the ‘Compton Rage’ of Serena Williams to come back to the sport in 2022. Being from Compton, the two have carried their hometown in their hearts to go far in the sport.  

Macci reveals King Richard’s mindset while training Venus and Serena Williams

Losing points can disrupt the rhythm of the players and get them disgruntled. But champions manage to rise back from losing and make victory theirs. This is the mindset that Richard Williams engrained in his daughters, as per Rick Macci. Their childhood coach recently said that Richard loved to see his daughters lose points, as he would often enjoy their reactions.

“Richard Williams loved for @serenawilliams @Venuseswilliams to lose in practice. The King loved it when the future GHETTO GOATS missed easy shots and felt Explosive Anger and it triggered a Ballistic Compton Rage. How smart was this man! This is Why I LOVE this Guy!” wrote Macci in his latest tweet.

Macci often shares tidbits about his time spent with the Williams family and talks about the way Richard liked to train his daughters. He has talked about the Compton Rage of the two sisters many times. After Serena announced her comeback to the sport, Macci used the phrase when describing her drive to play big in the sport. 

While he keeps sharing information about the way Richard used to train his daughter, he also shared the times when Richard showed his big heart for the community.

They weren’t alone, as Richard Williams also started uplifting his community. Rick Macci shared one of his ventures recently.

Richard wanted to get some childhood rackets of Venus and Serena restrung and distribute it to underprivileged children in the community. His efforts show how much he loves his community and the big heart he carries.
