‘Using All Those Funds Towards..’ – 25-Year-Old American Actress Turned Tennis Professional Shares Exciting Details About Juggling Multiple Professions

Mia Horvit is not your typical tennis player. While many professional players focus solely on their tennis career, Horvit has taken a different approach. She is not only an American tennis player, but also an actress and pageant queen. Despite juggling these different professions, she has managed to maintain a high level of success on the court.

Horvit’s journey to professional tennis began at the University of South Carolina. The American player has earned multiple All-American honors.

However, Horvit’s journey to the professional ranks has not been easy. She has also served as an extra in movies and shows, including Outer Banks on Netflix. While this may seem like a lot to handle, Horvit sees these different pursuits as interconnected and essential to her success on the court.

Horvit explained in an interview with Universal Tennis, “At the end of the day, tennis is the main priority. Everything that I’ve been doing outside in terms of pageants, acting, I’m using all those funds towards tennis,..” 

One of the ways the American has been using these funds to support her career is by playing at UTR Pro Tennis Tour events. Horvit has had considerable success on this tour, winning five championships so far. Her UTR rating has put her among the top players on the tour.

In addition to playing, the player has also been competing in pageants. While pageants may seem like an odd pursuit for a tennis player, Horvit sees them as an opportunity to hone her skills in other areas. She often posts her accolades on Instagram for her fans.

Horvit has also been pursuing her acting career while juggling her tennis and pageant pursuits. She has served as an extra on several shows and movies, including Manhunt (to be released on Apple TV), Righteous Gemstones (HBO), and Suncoast (a yet-to-be-released film from Searchlight). While she has not yet had any major acting roles, Horvit sees acting as another way to build her skills and network in the entertainment industry.
