However, the seven Olympic medals winner only rooted for Gauff on her social media.

Biles stated, “if @CocoGauff doesn’t win this we riot”. Gauff also took note of the American gymnast’s statement regarding her nomination for the People’s Choice Awards. In her response, Gauff posted a humble message for Biles by stating, “Sis I was saying the same thing about you😂😩”

In her response to the question, Serena stated that she didn’t listen to her critics and only focused on her performances on the court.

The 18- time singles Grand Slam champion added that naysayers are the ones who are jealous of other great people. Venus also advised Gauff by saying that naysayers are only background noises. The 7- time singles Grand Slam champion also focused on her performances on the court.
