After a career-changing victory, the new US Open champion, Coco Gauff, is on her next move. But instead of pursuing other tennis accomplishments after winning her first Grand Slam championship, the 19-year-old tennis sensation took a break and gave a completely new sport a try. Recently, the young tennis player shared a witty comment about playing another but somewhat comparable sport. Unsurprisingly, it is the same sport as one of her idols!

The sixth-ranked tennis player stunned the whole tennis world by achieving her first major title. The reigning US Open champion took the old adage – all work and no play make for a dull day – to heart. But since professional tennis training can hardly be considered ‘play’, she took to golf for some relaxed downtime. However, things didn’t go that well at the golf arena. In characteristic fashion, Gauff made fun of her poor golf skills as she took to her Instagram account to share a video of herself playing golf for the first time.

In that video, the sixth-ranked tennis player attempted to hit the ball, but instead of really doing so, she simply raised her stick in the air, leaving the ball in its same position. While she herself laughed at her skills, she also wrote a humorous 4-word message defining her not-so-good golf skills. She wrote, “Gauff but can’t golf,”

But this is not how she has planned to celebrate her first Grand Slam title victory. Just a few days ago, the new US Open champion shared a $3,000,000 dream that she wants to turn into reality as she revealed an extravagant Disneyland desire to mark the special occasion of her tennis career.

After winning the first Grand Slam title, Gauff made a bucket list of things she would like to do with the multi-million-dollar prize money. According to Express, she stated that she wants to go on a full-fledged adventure as she has never been on a real vacation.

Along with that, she also revealed the only instance of a ‘vacation’ that came to her mind right off the bat. Sadly, that only proved to be a facade rather than an actual vacation: “Unless you count Disney World, we went for a weekend, but I live in Florida, so we drove there and came back home that night.”
