UNVEILED: Serena Williams’ Father’s Biography King Richard Starring Will Smith

Tennis may be an individual sport but there are many people who contribute towards the success of any player. When it comes to Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams, the credit definitely goes to their dad Richard Williams for shaping them. On a number of occasions, both the sisters have said that without their father, the two would have been nothing.

To honor Williams’ contribution, HBO announced a film on him earlier. HBO will be coming with some quite great stuff this year and one of them is ‘King Richard’. The first scenes of the movie are out and they are quite fascinating to see.

The great superstar Will Smith is playing the role of Richard Williams and one could see him in the still scene. The film will hit the theatres on November 19, 2021.

Apart from Smith, Demi Singleton will be playing the role of Serena Williams while Saniyya Sidney will take it up for Venus Williams. The film covers the life of father Richard and mentions his role in developing his two daughters to world-class tennis players. The director of the film is Reinaldo Marcus Green.

HBO has also released the first look of some more fascinating movies. One can see LeBron James and Bugs Bunny in ‘Space Jam 2’ and the great battle between Kong and Godzilla in ‘Godzilla v Kong’. The first looks of ‘Suicide Squad’, ‘Mortal Kombat’, and even ‘Tom and Jerry’ are out as well.

Williams also admitted that besides tennis, her father also helped her with some business work. She earlier claimed that he sat with her during all the business talks with sponsors and associates. She also says that he is a complete genius, even though he didn’t go to any school.

Similarly, Venus Williams also credited her father for starting her interior designing business. She revealed that it was due to her father’s advice related to entrepreneurship that she didn’t face any difficulty in opening her firm.

The fans seem quite excited about ‘King Richard’. The movie will surely serve as an inspiration to them and they’ll hope that by the time it releases, Williams will get her hands on her 24th Grand Slam title.
